Use Case Priorities
Georgia APCD data will be leveraged for a wide range of use cases, including:
- analyses conducted by the administrator based on priority state needs
- independent analyses conducted by state entities
- independent analyses conducted by third party entities such as universities and research organizations
For prioritizing administrator analyses, the Use Case Workgroup convened and developed scenarios describing the potential use of APCD data to meet the objectives defined in O.C.G.A. 31-53-40. The administrator will initially focus on twelve use cases that will shine light on cost and utilization, population health, and healthcare quality in Georgia:
